While I could look at this and see loads of dirty laundry and be overwhelmed, I'm choosing to see the abundance. We have plenty of clothes for our bodies, towels and sheets to use, a nice washer to clean our clothes, etc.

Jan 1 - this little amazing creature is smiling for the camera. At 17 months I didn't expect him to do that yet. But then he started joking with me at 2 months so he's full of surprises. So full of life, this one! So much fun watching him develop and amazing to see Moriah wonder and marvel at his growth. Some of her favorite things of 2013 (we discussed our faves on NYE) were his development like talking and walking! How great is that!?!

A trip back east - aka too much sickness

Well we made it back east to Philly for Thanksgivukah / Moriah's birthday. It was a rough week to say the least. First Moriah got sick and then Max. We ended up canceling most of our plans and spending the week inside the house tending to fevers and such but did manage to get out a tiny bit and have some special visitors brave the sick den to visit us.

The day after our arrival when everyone was still well we had a fun visit with Heather and Fam. Moriah & Max had fun playing with Cole & Eve. It was great so see our friends!

The next afternoon we met Auntie Glo & Uncle Jerry in Princeton. Max had fun hiding in the shelves at the mall.

Walking with Auntie Glo

Happy to see the grandpop

Fast forward several days of illness later. Moriah was well enough for some indoor artwork so we painted menurkeys.

Thanksgiving night. Moriah was starting to feel better and Max wasn't sick yet so we made it out to the Dryzga's house for a wonderful meal and a great time seeing lots of friends.

The one pic of all of us we managed to get that night.

On Moriah's actual birthday we went out to the playground for a bit of sunshine. Moriah had fun!

Even max perked up long enough to enjoy the park for a few minutes.

Julia's homemade pumpkin cheesecake!

Thank goodness for Wegman's to the rescue when mom's hands are too full to bake! Thanks for picking up the cake, Grandma!

Jammie time for Chanukah. Lighting candles on the 4th night.

Max was a pretty crabby little sicko so Moriah was entertaining him with silly faces on the drive to the airport.

Everyone was pooped!

Summer snapshots

Max has finally come to terms with the stroller. This is good news, but also bittersweet because he's not such a little baby anymore! Our sitter was the first to witness this. Thankfully she sent pics :)

Playing in the yard :) these are the pictures that get me thru my day when I'm working.
